Stem cell treatment

Fetal stem cell treatment is transplantation of progenitor stem cells capable of forming the pools of cells responsible for certain body systems and functions: nervous, immune, and muscular systems, hematopoiesis, blood circulation, etc. Fetal stem cell transplantation is minimally invasive procedure: stem cells are administered via drip-feed IV or subcutaneously.

For our treatment, we use different types of stem cells harvested from various growth zones of 5-12 weeks old legally aborted and properly screened embryos. These cells produce excellent therapeutic effects. Remarkable results are achieved through combination of different cell types, with regards to disease and other factors.

Upon administration into the patient’s body, fetal stem cells trace damaged tissue location, migrate to the site of damage, engraft, multiply and differentiate in cell types necessary for restoration of the impaired function. This restoration is achieved not only because of substitution of the damaged cells by the new ones, but also because of secretion by fetal stem cells of important biologically active substances (e.g. hematopoietic growth factors, interleukins, nerve growth factor, tumor necrosis factor, angiogenic and neurotrophic factors etc.). Unlike adult stem cells, fetal stem cells are not rejected by the recipient due to a very low and late expression of histocompatibility antigen.

Principal clinical effects of fetal stem cell therapy are as follows:

  1. Substantial subsidence of the disease symptoms.

  2. Homeostasis normalization (maintenance of stable internal environment, in particular, glycemia, lipidemia, creatinemia, mineral and water metabolism, blood pressure, improvement of blood circulation, etc.).

  3. Rapid and vivid build-up of physical capacity, psychophysiological and cognitive improvement.

  4. Hematopoiesis restoration (normalization of erythrocyte, leukocyte and thrombocyte counts).

  5. Immune boosting or suppression depending on the disease etc.

  6. Improved nourishment of tissues and organs and oxygen supply to them, restoration of deteriorated tissues and impaired functions, anti-aging effect, and pronounced "functional rejuvenation".

Therapeutic effects of fetal stem cell treatment are far beyond the possibilities of any other modern method.

However, we should understand that fetal stem cell treatment is not magic, and it cannot create a giant from a dwarf. It helps in achieving realistic goals, such as restoration of the impaired functions, inhibition of the disease progression, aging delay, compensation of the defects caused by different diseases, and substantial life quality improvement.

List of contraindications for stem cell therapy is rather limited:

1. Exacerbated vasculitis: capillaritis, phlebitis, arteritis (treatment is possible after at least three months of remission).
2. Acute thrombosis (treatment is possible not earlier than 3–6 months after exacerbation).
3. Advanced pulmonary hypertension secondary to vasculitis, thrombosis, pneumonia; acute or subacute pulmonary heart.
4. Myelocarcinosis, myelofibrosis.
5. Terminal stage of the disease (marked intoxication, advanced metabolic dysfunctions and decompensation of internal organs).
6. Exacerbation of chronic infections.
7. Mental diseases (risk of exacerbation).

There are no adverse effects associated with stem cell therapy. Sterility and safety of fetal stem cell suspensions are ensured by application of the universal testing methods (including real time PCR) and safety precautions applicable for the work with biological material.
