1. Embryonic tissues center “EmCell” is a private limited liability company (Ltd.) that was founded in 1994.

1. EmCell is a capable and creative staff of the like-minded followers headed by Professor A.I. Smikodub.

1. Historical background since 1987:

- first in the world embryonic stem cell transplantations to the diabetes mellitus patients (1992), HIV-infection patients (1991), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis patients (1995), multiple sclerosis patients (1994), etc.;

- organization of the university level Cell Therapy Clinic in 1994.

1. Cell Therapy Clinic:

- more than 1000 patients;

- more than 3000 transplantation.

1. EmCell is biotechnologies of extraction and stem cells storage.

1. EmCell is a bank of cell suspensions – more than 10 000 samples.

1. Number of patents – 16, among them – 2 USA patents, 2 Netherlands patents, 2 Greek patents, 3 Russian patents, 7 Ukrainian patents.

4 patents are pending in the USA.

1. We were the first in the world who proposed to create medical preparations on the basis of the embryonic stem cells. Further work is possible for manufacturing of medical preparations (patents of the USA, the Netherlands, Russia and Ukraine).
